This captures the full home remodel which took place over several years. At Shadi Interior Design, we take great pride and attention to the character of every home we work in. Updating a space, while losing character does nothing for a home. That said, maintaining and highlighting the Cape Code style of this home, and keeping with the old Minneapolis charm was imperative. From the plaster crown molding, to the thin redwood hardwood floors, to the marble bathroom, to the 1930s art deco crystal door knobs and plates, the character of this space scream, appreciate me! Seeing this home go back to its original intention in many ways, while also being updated was such fun metamorphosis to create and see come to fruition.
